MILWAUKEE (April 25, 2007) - The Muscular Dystrophy Association recently launched www.mdarides.org a new web site that highlights Harley-Davidson rides and events that raise program funds to conduct research for MDA. Designed to be a valuable resource for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts the site contains information riders need to take part in the dozens of dealer-sponsored events to support MDA.

(April 11, 2007) - How often should a helmet be replaced and how snug should it really fit? These are two key questions that many enthusiasts regularly ask. April is Check Your Helmet Month and MotorClothes specialists at Harley-Davidson dealerships are available to answer these questions and others regarding helmet fit, function, care and replacement.

MILWAUKEE (March 16, 2007) - Harley-Davidson Motor Company surpassed records and marked a few firsts at Daytona Bike Week 2007, held in Daytona Beach, Fla., from March 3-10. The Harley-Davidson Indoor Show at the Ocean Center saw a record 48,000 visitors, and Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) representatives handed out more than 14,000 pins to H.O.G. members. Harley-Davidson and Buell gave a combined 9,878 total demo rides over the eight-day period, a 25 percent increase over the total demo rides at Daytona 2006. Also, Daytona Bike Week 2007 marked the first event for the redesigned Harley-Davidson Traveling Museum.

In a sterotypical battle between weekend bikers and 1%-ers, the audience comes out the winner... laughing.

Larry, Moe and Curly have nothing on Cincinnati suburbanites Woody, Doug, Bobby and Dudley. Rather than facing a crumbling marriage to a swimsuit model, Woody (John Travolta) wants to escape via a mid-life crisis roadtrip on his Harley and recruits his rich urban biker (r.u.b.) friends for the cross-country adventure. Doug (Tim Allen) is the dentist approaching a nervous breakdown. Bobby (Martin Lawrence) is the hen-pecked husband who'd do anything for time away from his wife and plumbing career. The final member of the motorcycle club is Dudley (William H. Macy) who is more dork than dude and it shows in his riding skills.

YORK, PA. (February 22, 2007) The three week strike by the union at Harley-Davidson's largest manufacturing plant is history. In a vote today, members of the union approved a three-year contract with the motorcycle company which includes no pay changes for new employees and continues to fund 100% of employee health-care premiums. Salary increases are the same as in the company's offer prior the union strike, at four percent per year.

NAPLES, Fla. (May 3, 2007) - Harley-Davidson’s Rider’s Edge New Rider Course trained its 100,000th student, Michael Lambert of Estero, Fla., on March 22-26, at Harley-Davidson of Naples.

Lambert, age 39, decided to learn to ride a motorcycle when he fell in love with the dark and sinister 2007 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL1200N Nightster. Earlier this year, while waiting for the restaurant next to the dealership to open, Lambert took a stroll through the sales area to check out the new motorcycles. When he saw the new Nightster, he had to have it. Lambert planned to buy the Nightster after he completed the New Rider Course, but unfortunately the last one was sold only 2 hours before the end of his class. Lambert eagerly waited for the next one to be delivered to the dealership, and he was finally able to take home his new Nightster on April 21.
