1st5ive | Press Releases By Kevin Campbell on 5/4/2007

NAPLES, Fla. (May 3, 2007) - Harley-Davidson’s Rider’s Edge New Rider Course trained its 100,000th student, Michael Lambert of Estero, Fla., on March 22-26, at Harley-Davidson of Naples.

Lambert, age 39, decided to learn to ride a motorcycle when he fell in love with the dark and sinister 2007 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL1200N Nightster. Earlier this year, while waiting for the restaurant next to the dealership to open, Lambert took a stroll through the sales area to check out the new motorcycles. When he saw the new Nightster, he had to have it. Lambert planned to buy the Nightster after he completed the New Rider Course, but unfortunately the last one was sold only 2 hours before the end of his class. Lambert eagerly waited for the next one to be delivered to the dealership, and he was finally able to take home his new Nightster on April 21.

Wild Hogs Will R.U.B. You the Right Way
1st5ive | News By host on 3/2/2007

In a sterotypical battle between weekend bikers and 1%-ers, the audience comes out the winner... laughing.

Larry, Moe and Curly have nothing on Cincinnati suburbanites Woody, Doug, Bobby and Dudley. Rather than facing a crumbling marriage to a swimsuit model, Woody (John Travolta) wants to escape via a mid-life crisis roadtrip on his Harley and recruits his rich urban biker (r.u.b.) friends for the cross-country adventure. Doug (Tim Allen) is the dentist approaching a nervous breakdown. Bobby (Martin Lawrence) is the hen-pecked husband who'd do anything for time away from his wife and plumbing career. The final member of the motorcycle club is Dudley (William H. Macy) who is more dork than dude and it shows in his riding skills.

Ghost Rider Jumps The Shark
1st5ive | Reviews By host on 2/16/2007

GhostMarvel's comic takes a wrong turn in Sony Pictures' big budget transition to the silver screen.

Readers of the Ghost Rider comic series are familiar with the storyline. The title character is a motorcycle rider given supernatural powers by a demon to do his dirty work. The original comic anti-hero was Johnny Blaze, a young motorcycle stuntman with a travelling carnival. Like most comics-turned-movies, the updated flim version quickly distances itself from the original printed storyline.

WILD HOGS: Four Suburban Bikers Ride Their Motorcycles to Funnyville
1st5ive | Videos By host on 1/28/2007

Four guys from the suburbs hit the road.. and the road hits back. The funniest looking biker gang to come along since... well, ever. There is not doubt, the guys are brothers from a different mother.

One of the best parts of being a biker is the ability to chose your two-wheel family. Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy are not the kinds of motorcycle riders I'd want to see at my side for hundreds of miles, but together, they look to be entertaing enough for a couple of hours of laughs.

Movie opens March 2, 2007.
